Yoga for Cancer Teacher Training (YCat) is a three-level certification program.

The next Level 1 and Level 3 training are in May 2011 at Yogaville Ashram in Buckingham, Virginia.

YCat Level 1: May 8 -15, 2011
Students attend an 8 day, seven night residential program that provides a research-based, conceptual framework for adapting Yoga practices to the varied & specific needs of people with cancer and stable chronic illness. 		 

Yogaville Ashram
The daily schedule is very full beginning at 6:00 AM with meditation and the day ends at 9:30 PM.
In addition to studies there is noon meditation in the Light of Truth Universal Shrine -LOTUS- with optional services in the other sacred shrines on the Yogaville property, plus limited free time. Residence is required at the Ashram for the entire program.

YCat Level 2: Ongoing, remote supervision.

YCat Level 3: May 18 - 22, 2011 (Program starts Wednesday at noon in Charlottesville arriving at Yogaville for supper)
Students attend a 5 day residential symposium designed for teachers to expand their knowledge by sharing with peers who are also doing this work.
